What We Learned in Math Class Today

The 7th graders worked on using unit multipliers and proportions convert units of measurement.  They were able to work more of the story problems on their own today (Hurrah for them!!)
The 6th graders learned about the cirumferences of circles and how to use Pi (3.14) to find the circumference of numbers.
The 8th graders reviewed how to multiply and divide mixed numbers.  They then explored roots of numbers.
Mariah and Chancey thought it was cool that they could use prime factorization to find the roots of numbers.
In the 5th grade today, we learned how to average numbers.  Tyra and Sami that it was fun to find the average by adding and then dividing.
Everyone was glad it was Friday!
